VIN on Chassis

The Vin # for early cars are stamped into the inner right front fender panel - above the front lower control arm mount (approx 10 inches) find a flat spot about 6 inches long. The vin # is stamped in the chassis - if you open the hood you can see the "flat spot" about 4 inches below the top of the fender but the numbers are on the outside . Thieves rarely remove this number when they steal and renumber a car.
