Low Coolant - False Warnings

Symptom: "Low Coolant" warning appears when level is not low.

Try unplugging the connector to the sensor (mounted on top of a separate cap on the expansion tank), then clean any corrosion. Also, tap the sensor cap a few good shots to "unstick" the contacts (which are closed to indicate a low level). Reconnect the sensor, and see what happens. This solved my false low coolant level warning.
