Key wont Go Completely into Lock

>I cannot unlock or lock the vehicle from the driver's side door.

My right hand door lock did accept the key but would not allow it to turn. I took out the lock (only one small screw on the door). Taking it apart (keep the key in the lock when you do this) revealed one broken pin. After taking that out it now works perfectly. There were enough pins left to retain it's function as lock.
